Hosting
This website is hosted by cyon GmbH, Brunngässlein 12, 4052 Basel, Switzerland (cyon.ch). As a data processor, cyon processes technical connection data (including IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs) as part of regular server operations. This data is not used for analytical purposes and is not shared with third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).
Contact by email
When you contact us by email, the data you provide (name, email address, message content) is processed solely to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). The data is not shared with third parties and will be deleted upon conclusion of the correspondence, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Emails are generally retained for no longer than 24 months.
Web analytics — Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to collect pseudonymised usage statistics. The following data is processed:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Approximate geographic location (country/region)
- Device type, operating system and browser
- Traffic source (e.g. direct, search engine)
Google Analytics 4 does not collect or store complete IP addresses. The data collected is pseudonymised — it continues to constitute personal data under the GDPR. Data retention in Google Analytics is limited to 14 months. Google Analytics is only activated if you have given your consent.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets a cookie (_ga) to distinguish between visits. This cookie is only set if you have consented to the use of Analytics. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Local storage
This website stores your cookie preference in your browser's local storage (yz_cookie_consent). This is used solely to save your consent and avoid showing the banner on every visit. This is not a cookie. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in managing consent preferences).
Third parties — Google LLC
